“An institution with twin trust; Academic and Values excellence”, a phrase in the Student’s Pledge that states what Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) wants to develop to every student enrolled in this school. It wants to mold its students to be academically equipped and morally straight with connection to the school’s 5Cs; Competence, Character, Collaboration, Commitment to achieve and Creativity.
In my opinion, the institution’s goal for its student to excel in the academe and to their character is attainable through the help of competent teachers, faculties, staffs and the friendly environment that it have. In addition to this, the SISC Hallmarks (IC) a one unit subject that the school have secures this goal which is like a Values education through the school’s dreams to encourage the students to become the next leaders and movers of the society.
Now it may sound simple but could be as hard as a climbing the highest mountain especially to those who have lived with bad attitudes. Well, it may seem bad but this is Southville’s challenge and the school is more than willing to accept this challenge. This is what I observed and proved when my IC teacher, Miss Belen told us that the school is accepting students which are been kicked out or dropped from other schools or universities but of course in one condition, that they will change and graduate in this school as a changed person. This only proves that Southville is true to its promises to the students.
