TURKEY!

Usually, a turkey is being cooked for Thanks giving day but this meal is becoming a part of our Christmas feast since we don't have that occasion here in the Philippines. It is a huge chicken like meal that can surely fill up anyone's appetite but before anything else, one must have a really big oven for that to be cooked.

Now this turkey thing is making me really hungry and remember a major price failure that happened 2 years ago, a week before Christmas that made my family really happy for we had a chance to eat a turkey for the first time and unfortunately that was the last but anyway, what happened was we were able to see the last stock of a turkey at Shopwise, Kingswood, Makati that costs only Php. 250. All the costumer assistants the cashier could not believed the price of this turkey because they sold already those at the cost of Php.1900. They kept on checking if it's an error or not but they were unable to prove it's real price to us. The manager could not also believe what happened because at that time there is no sale yet and even so, the price of a regular turkey will be only at Php.1500.

So after the long discussion and checking, they have n choice but to sell us the turkey at that low price. Well, their lost is our gain so we went home with a smile in our faces because of this turkey. Another funny thing is that we don't even have an oven to cook that turkey in the first place so even though we bought this meal in a low price, we will not even have a chance to cook it anyway. It's a good thing that my dad has a friend that willingly lend us his oven so then again, we have a really nice meal in our Noche Buena.

Ohh, yeah, Christmas is coming, I wonder that incidence will happen again. I sure missed the taste of that juicy turkey.
