The Senior Scout Code

As a senior scout: I will live up the Scout Oath and Law, Scout Motto and Senior Scout Slogan;

I will be familiar with the constitution of the Republic of the Philippines especially my rights and obligations as a Filipino citizen;

I will share responsibilities of my Home, School, Church, Neighborhood, Community and Country;

 I will deal fairly and kindly with my fellowmen in the spirit of the Scout Law;

 I will work to preserve our Filipino heritage, aware that the privileges I enjoy were won by hard work, sacrifices, clear thinking and faith to our forefathers;

 I do everything in my power to pass on the better Philippines up to the next generation

---------------------------------

I'm a scout and it is not my duty to just memorize this code. It because we, the scouts, need to  have sincere dedication to this code that we repeatedly recite in every scouting event that proves that we ate true to ourselves and to our duty. Also, if the scout reciting this doesn't absorb it's message then there is no point of memorizing this.

A true scout can only be seen if he comply to the promise that he once left when he was invested as a scout and when he recited the Scout's Oath and the Senior Scout Code in front of his Outfit advisor and to his fellow scouts. All of the promises of a scout can be seen in this code and all of these promises will help that scout to be a man of character and a good model of change.

They also said that "Once a scout is always a scout", which means that even though that we already graduated    in elementary or high school, our membership of being a scout will stay and will become a part of our lives so we still need to act upon the promises that we have.
